Direct payment policy

Core principle

EventTentBooking is a discovery and coordination marketplace. We do not collect, escrow, process settlement, or hold customer payments for tent and event services.

How you should pay

After agreeing a quotation, pay the vendor’s stated UPI ID or bank details. Confirm the account holder name matches the business on the quote.

Keep UTR / reference numbers and screenshots. Upload payment proof in-app when the vendor requests it for booking confirmation.

What we are not responsible for

Incorrect UPI transfers, vendor non-performance, or bank/UPI disputes. Those are handled between you, the vendor, and payment providers.

Vendor subscription fees

Optional vendor plan fees paid to the platform (if enabled) are separate from customer event payments and will be clearly labelled.
